Model RHZYN 120 and 240

Fushun Huateng’s closed breathing systems model RHZYN 120 and 240 are closed breathing systems for application in fire and mining rescue. The systems are manufactured and also sold commercially by the government-owned Fushun Huateng company. The systems are equipped with a cooling system and a warning signal once the oxygen supply is in danger of running out. The robusst constructed systems offer no novelties compared to other models produced in the world. The conbstruction is solid and extensively tested and certified.

Chinese mining rescue workers are generally known for their professional and courageous approach to rescue operations in mining areas. They are trained to respond to mine emergencies such as collapses, gas leaks or other dangerous conditions. While it is difficult to make a general statement about the quality of all Chinese mining rescue workers, there are some characteristics and practices commonly associated with their work:

Training and expertise: Chinese mining rescue workers usually receive thorough training to learn about mining hazards, rescue techniques, the use of special equipment and procedures for entering dangerous mining environments. They are trained in rescuing miners in different scenarios and are often well versed in the specific conditions of the mines in their region.

Speed and responsiveness: In a mine emergency, rapid response is crucial. Chinese mining rescuers are known for being quick on the scene and taking effective measures to ensure the safety of miners. They are trained to work under stressful conditions and make quick decisions.

Use of advanced equipment: Rescue workers use specialised equipment and technologies, such as breathing apparatus, communication devices, gas detectors and rescue cages, to make rescue operations more efficient and safer.

Cooperation: Mine rescue workers usually work as a team, working closely together to provide the coordinated efforts needed for a successful rescue operation. They communicate effectively with each other and other rescue agencies to ensure the safety and welfare of the miners.

It is important to note that mining rescue operations are risky and challenging, and the quality of rescue workers can vary depending on various factors, such as the level of training, experience and available resources. Each rescue operation is unique and requires careful planning and execution to achieve the best results.

Therebreathersite was founded by Jan Willem Bech in 1999. After a diving career of many years, he decided to start technical diving in 1999. He immediately noticed that at that time there was almost no website that contained the history of closed breathing systems. The start for the website led to a huge collection that offered about 1,300 pages of information until 2019. In 2019, a fresh start was made with the website now freely available online for everyone. Therebreathersite is a source of information for divers, researchers, technicians and students. I hope you enjoy browsing the content!
